symptom: Unable to get idle session because the max allowable number of failed initializing Telnet sessions has been reached.

symptom: Error when trying to open a new menu in .NetUI

symptom: Error "Unable to get idle session" when opening a menu in .NetUI

cause: This error occurs when the max session number setting is too low in Connection Manager or Telnet Maintenance.

fix:

Check the following:

1. Go to 36.20.10.3 User Option Telnet Maintenance (mgusrtmt.p) and check the Maximum and Minimum number of Telnet Connections (last frame). The minimum needs to be set with 1 to 9 and maximum with 1 to Unlimited. If you set 5 in Maximum (for example), each user will be able to open until 5 menus (IF there are idle sessions available in Connection Manager - see below).

2. Go to Connection Manager | Configuration Parameters and check Maximum Failures. The "Unable to get idle session" error will occur if Maximum Failures is set too low. For example, in an environment where 250 users are normally using QAD, Maximum Failures =2 will cause ""Unable to get idle session" error. In this scenario, Maximum Failures should be set at 100 so that the "Unable to get idle session" error is unlikely to occur.


3. Go to Connection Manager | Functions | Update Configuration settings. Check the Minimum Connections and Maximum Connections settings. The Minimum Connections cannot be 0. The Maximum Connections is going to limit the maximum sessions that the system can handle (i.e 5 users opening 5 telnet sessions: Maximum Connections = 25.)

4. If running QAD applications on UNIX then check the per_source setting in the etc/xinetd file. This setting should be 4 times the number of QAD users. For example, if there are 1000 QAD users, the per_source should be 4000.

5. Check catalina_out for any Java exceptions.

symptom: Unable to get idle session, max allowed number of failed telnet sessions has been reached

symptom: Error occurs when trying to run any menu after login

fix: Go into Connection Manager | Functions
      -- Reset failed init count
      -- Close Connection Manager
      -- Restart Connection Manager

Since there are so many causes for this error, if this does not work, then other Knowledgebases might have the appropriate solution.

关于你这个配置的问题，需要修改Internet 选项。
1、打开IE
2、打开工具选项卡
3、单击下拉菜单中的Iternert 选项
4、在弹出框中的第一个常规分页中，点击下方外观区域的语言按钮
5、设置语言首选项，增加英语，并将以此最为第一选择。
